Did you know that there's an app for the Abel Tasman National Park? Well, there is! And get this: it works offline too!!! So make sure you download it onto your phone and/or tablet before you travel to the Park next. It's available for FREE on iTunes and Google Play.
We call the app our “Virtual Visitor Centre” because it brings heaps of visitor information straight to you, digitally.
You get up-to-date information on:
- points of interest
- walking times (for popular walks in the Park)
The Wi-Fi hotspots in the Park do not provide full internet access. You may use a hotspot to browse the following sites:
- Project Janszoon
- Department of Conservation
- Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust
- NZ Birds Online
The app and private Wi-Fi network are provided by the Project Janszoon Trust.
